Introducing the new LB-FMS-2000C and LB-FMS-2000M Critical Environment Controllers

The LB-FMS-2000C Critical Environment Controller ensures laboratory and healthcare settings are safe for all occupants through continuous room pressure and airflow verification. The controller can precisely control and monitor six parameters that include differential pressure, temperature, humidity, CO2, airflow, and air changes per hour. One controller can control or monitor up to four spaces simultaneously for any of the six parameters. The controller has a displayed flow resolution down to 0.0001 inWC, which instantly updates as conditions change.

The LB-FMS-2000C provides room status awareness with color-coded visual alarms both on screen and with the 360° Safety Halo illuminated edge. To help reduce alarm fatigue, you can temporarily mute the audible alarm with one tap to the screen. The controller has two password-protected access levels, one for administrators and one for restricted-level users, such as staff members. See Table 1 for Ordering information.

Features and benefits

  • The features and benefits of the LB-FMS-2000C Critical Environment Controller include the following:
  • A large 5 in. (127 mm), high-definition, 720 pixels x 1280 pixels resolution touch screen display.
  • The low-profile surface mount does not interfere with hospital staff outside the wall and takes up minimal space inside the wall.
  • The intuitive user interface provides quick and easy setup.
  • The user interface is fully translated to 17 languages.
  •  BACnet MS/TP communication.

What's new

  • You can write the isolation mode from the building automation system (BAS).
  • The conveniently located end user demonstration video ensures it is easy to teach staff members how to use the LB-FMS-2000C. Restricted-level users can scan a QR code on the display to view a short video from their smartphone.
  • The updated installation and user guide now includes a troubleshooting section.

Note: If you already have an FMS-2000C, you can upgrade the firmware to obtain the new features. Refer to the LB-xMS-2000 Display Firmware Update Installation Guide (LIT-12013901) for more information.

Introducing the new LB-FMS-2000M Critical Environment Monitor
The LB-FMS-2000M Critical Environment Monitor is a BACnet® MS/TP differential pressure monitoring solution that displays and measures differential pressure as low as 0.0001 inWC or 0.0249 Pa. The monitor also displays temperature, humidity, air flow, air changes, and CO2 from the BAS for up to four spaces.

The LB-FMS-2000M provides room status awareness with color-coded visual alarms both on screen and with the 360° Safety Halo illuminated edge, that enables staff to easily monitor spaces across long corridors. You can temporarily mute the audible alarm with one tap to the screen to help reduce alarm fatigue. The monitor has two password-protected access levels, one for administrators and one for restricted-level users, such as staff members. See Table 4 for Ordering information.
