Niagara Remote Now Available to  Beta Program Partners
Niagara Remote™ provides web-based remote access to a Niagara station.

Niagara Remote™ is a new service from the Niagara Cloud Suite™ that addresses the need for remote access to Niagara Stations. It is designed to be a productivity-enhancing, cost-saving option for the busy Niagara Framework® user troubleshooting a deployment, doing regular engineering and maintenance work, or just checking the status of all operations across a Niagara-based network via the graphical user interface. Niagara Remote™ provides remote access to a Niagara Supervisor or JACE via a web browser, without the need for additional hardware, gateways, or VPNs. See for yourself how quickly Niagara Remote's many benefits are realized, like fewer truck rolls and more focused site visits.

FEATURES
Tridium understands that security is often a key customer concern when deploying a cloud solution. Thus, Niagara Remote™ is designed to work with standard IT-network firewall technology and incorporates robust security features, for example:
  • All user and station communications use HTTPS / websockets on port 443.
  • Niagara station initiates outbound, remote access connection to the cloud. Inbound connections are not required.
  • A single endpoint application program interface — api.niagara-cloud.com — is used for all communication with the station.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication required for remote access to station.
  • Fine-grained, role-based access controls allow user access to be managed at the station level.
  • TLS1.2+ (TLS1.3 recommended) for all communications.

ABOUT TRIDIUM BETA PROGRAM
Selection for any Tridium Beta program is within our discretion, and the following minimum criteria must be met for eligibility:

  • You must be an Authorized Tridium Reseller or Authorized Reseller Partner and sign an evaluation agreement.
  • You must be willing and capable of having installation performed at a live site and in a timely manner, consistent with Tridium's beta schedule to maximize user feedback.
  • You must be willing and capable of implementing the full range of features in Niagara Remote™ to sufficiently test the live system and collect data accordingly.

Participating in beta testing enables you to:

  • Be among the first to experience working with the latest in Niagara Cloud Suite™ and Niagara SaaS offerings.
  • Provide feedback on potential ways of improving the product
